Make a short review of a certain film or movie that you had watched and explain to someone who is reluctant to study the value of education

PRE-ASSESSMENT: As a student, how many times have you been required by your teachers to write an essay?

-          As a student, as far as I remember, most of all my subjects require to write an essay by my teachers in every activity in school like clarifying facts, opinions and answers since it is important and improves the process of learning.

PRE ASSESSMENT: State below are issues that you need to write and share your own perception as a student.

1.      Make a short review of a certain film or movie that you had watched.

‘Your Name’ (Kimi No Nawa) by Makoto Shinkai

This anime movie is one of my most exciting, thrilling, and magical rides in the run – another successful masterpiece of Shinkai. I really love how it left me hanging at the end with a truly amazing satisfactory and nostalgia feeling. I take my hats off to the team of Shinkai with its impressive animation – a perfect detail and features on every endearing character and almost photo-realist views of Taki’s Urban Tokyo life and Mitsuha’s lakeside hometown. The balance of realistic emotions and magical escapism between the two teenagers’ oddly romantic and intimate adventure of swapping of bodies together with enriching Japan’s culture and beliefs – kataware doki and the meteor shower that symbolizes as the antagonist of their love unravels the intense plot twist making the movie exquisite and emotionally engaging enough to be worth watching. It feels like a couple who become so close yet remain so distant.

2.      Explain to someone who is reluctant to study the value of education

Education means learning and its moral aim is the physical and intellectual development of a child. It is indeed the foundation for much of our future since it provides us knowledge, skills, ethics which we are able to learn and have a progress in our life and develops further as we foster as an individual realizing our own potential and qualities.

But from what I observe on my society, most students are reluctant to study the value of education because of some influences, personal issues, and practical circumstances. One of the biggest factors that brought up some children to the reluctance of education is the financial status/job status of the parents, usually, when parents are highly educated/ professional, their children can focused on their study and sometimes end up in the same profession with their parents as compared to parents undergraduate from elementary with the low source of income, their children at an early age have no choice but to help to earn a living instead, prioritize their focus on studying or education that has the possibility for the child to lost interest in the significance of education as basic foundation.

Other factors affecting the mindset and perspective of the child about the value of education is the lack of early childhood care and development from parent’s guidance/family upbringing due to family struggle mostly like separation of parents, bad influence in the environment, social anxiety and letting oneself be addicted to gadgets especially to online gaming and social media.

Commonly, reluctant students have the potential to excel in achieving a particular thing especially in academics but throughout some situations in life, it alters their thoughts about the importance of education.
